Sacred Journey | A Space for Transformation
Don’t we all have a deep longing for true and lasting change – for genuine spiritual transformation? Transformation happens as we become who God made us to be. Becoming is not so much something we do, as it is the end result of what God does in us. As a matter of fact, becoming has a whole lot more to do with being than it does with doing: being aware of His voice, being open to His hand, and being convinced of His love.
This semester we will explore six foundational words that form a framework for the life of God within us - words that offer rich images to step into, words that provide a certain rhythm to move to, words that invite us to a better view of God, life and faith. These words will move us in a particular direction; leading us toward a much desired destination – that of spiritual transformation.
Come and discover how to experience the genuine transformation you desire in this spiritual formation focused class. Jim Branch’s book “Becoming” will be our guide this semester. Our class time will include spiritual practices, chapter conversations, individual guided solitude and small group discussion aimed at helping you grow deeper in your spiritual life. We look forward to having you!
