Handling the Holidays and the Hardest Days

If you have experienced the loss of a loved one, there are many "firsts" that can feel particularly challenging.  The first Christmas celebration without the loved one present.  The first anniversary or birthday without him/her.  The traditional family trip or event without your loved one.  On these days, we often find ourselves blindsided by the intensity of emotions and memories that surface.

This one night event is designed to help you develop an intentional and hope-filled plan for the holidays and hardest days so that you feel better equipped to face them as they come.  September Vaudrey, author of Colors of Goodbye:  A Memoir of Holding On, Letting Go, and Reclaiming Joy in the Midst of Loss will be the speaker for the evening and will share from her own experience of loss as well as walking intentionally alongside others through seasons of grief.

This event is free, and all are welcome.  No registration is required.  Doors will open at 6:45pm.
