GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays is a seminar for those who have lost a loved one that provides encouragement, support, and practical advice on how to prepare for the holiday season.
In this 2-hour seminar we will watch a video featuring interviews with top experts on grief and recovery, real-life case studies, dramatic reenactments, and on-location video. After the video, a table facilitator will lead your group in a discussion. You're invited to share during this time about your own circumstances or you can opt to be a silent participant.
The seminar addresses:
- How to deal with the many emotions you’ll face during the holidays
- Helpful tips for surviving social events
- Ways to give your kids a good holiday experience
- How to discover hope for your future
Those who attend will receive a "Surviving the Holidays - Survival Guide" book. This book contains a section for notes as well as additional chapters on how to prepare for the holidays.
