Refugees--Conversations with a New Neighbor & Packing Event

Is getting to know people from other cultures, races, and ethnicities a challenge for you? Do you bring preconceived notions into those interactions? Join us for the New Neighbor Conversation, hosted by Exodus World Service.  This workshop will help everyone, no matter their background, to better understand and embrace differences and engage in a positive mindset of inclusivity towards your neighbors, co-workers, and people you meet in everyday life.  Registration is not required.

What better way to show our refugee/immigrant neighbors that you care than by participating in a back-to-school pencil box packing activity!  Immediately following the teaching session, we'll pack 400 pencil boxes to bless refugee and immigrant families in the Chicagoland area.  All supplies will be provided.  Just show up and assist with this family-friendly serve to finish out our evening.
