Building Stronger Marriages. Winter/Spring 2018

Doors open at 6:30p.m.. Groups begin promptly at 6:45p.m. Teaching begins at 7:00p.m.

February 23,

We tackle the issue of sexual intimacy in marriage. We will unpack the physical and emotional aspects of sexual intimacy. You will have time to discuss sexual intimacy on your own with your spouse.

March 16,

We will give you the opportunity to discuss and explore how you communicate with your spouse about money. Our evening won’t focus on the details of financial planning, but on our differences in how we look at money. For example, is money about love, power, security or freedom? You will have a chance to work on the challenges you have around money or celebrate your positive connections around money.

April 13

We will focus on how addictions impact your marriage relationship, an area of struggle common in marriage. Addictions are idols we put before God and we use them to escape or medicate pain. You will have an opportunity to explore your addictions with your spouse. You will have an opportunity to connect and be heard and understood.

May 18

For the past three months we have explored areas of conflict that are common in marriage (Sexual Intimacy, Money and Addictions). This month we will focus on how forgiveness heals our marriage relationship. Our ability to forgive our spouse is necessary for our marriage to survive and thrive. Forgiveness heals our marriage.
