Healing from the pain of divorce takes time. Your commitment to the process helps to determine your ability to grow.
Our program consists of a teaching followed by small group discussion. Each group has up to eight participants and is usually mixed gender. In the workshop you will become an important part of a "community" in your small group. They need you as much as you need them.
Hand-outs and Group Discussion Time: Your table leader will facilitate discussions based on teachings and you will receive hand-outs for taking notes.
Our group leaders have been where you are. Our volunteer leaders have personally experienced divorce. All leaders have grown emotionally and spiritually through their experience by attending this workshop and having faith in Jesus.
Should I attend this workshop if I hope to reconcile? If you think marital reconciliation may be possible, we suggest emailing Donnalynn, Director of Care & Equipping for information on our Marriage Ministry and/or private counseling referrals, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do I have to be a Christian to attend? No. Anyone can attend this workshop. The healing path is common to all people regardless of their religious beliefs. All are welcome.
Is there a place that offers support for my children while I attend this workshop? In this season we are not offering KidsZone. KidsZone Ministry is designed to help children experience God's love in the midst of life's challenges. It is open to children whose parent(s) are enrolled in one of our support workshops. KidsZone requires separate registration. Space is limited.
